This policy explains what personal information Wine Map Prints collects when you visit our website or place an order, why we hold it, and the choices you have. We keep the amount of data we gather to what is genuinely needed to run the shop.
Information we collect
When you place an order we collect the details required to fulfil it: your name, delivery address, email address and the contents of your order. If you contact us by email, we keep that correspondence so we can help you. We also receive basic technical information from your browser, such as your approximate location and the pages you view, when you use the site.
Payments
Card and payment details are entered directly with a third-party payment processor and are handled by that processor under its own security standards. We do not see or store your full card number. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the order reference.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies to keep the shop working and to understand, in aggregate, how visitors move through the pages. Analytics data is used to improve the site and is not used to identify you personally. You can restrict or clear cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the shop may then work less smoothly.
How we use your information
- To produce, package and deliver the prints you order.
- To send you order confirmations and delivery updates.
- To answer questions and resolve any problem with an order.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Sharing
We share your details only with the partners needed to complete your order, such as our European print partner and the delivery carrier, and only the information they require to do their part. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Order and billing records are kept for as long as required to run the business and satisfy tax and legal rules. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
